One person is in hospital in critical condition after an accident on Highway 1 in Burnaby. The accident happened when an unidentified object went through the windshield and hit the driver.
The incident happened on June 6, at approximately 11:24 am on Highway 1 near the Willingdon exit in Burnaby. The incident involved a white sedan, whose driver was critically injured when an unidentified object penetrated the windshield.
The injured driver was transported to a hospital and remains in critical condition. BC Highway Patrol – Burnaby responded to the scene and thoroughly searched the highway to locate the object.
Authorities are actively investigating the incident and are appealing for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to come forward. Individuals with information are urged to contact BC Highway Patrol – Burnaby at 604-526-9744.
