Live Music at Shipyards Plaza from 1 pm to 5:30 pm
Enjoy performances by talented musicians, including Ashley Pater and Band, Cruise Control Band, and more. Plus, dance at the Skate Party with DJ Sage and DJ Emnesia the day away. Eat from food vendors such as Tornado Potato and Mr. Tube Steak. Don’t miss out on the delicious food options available.
Ice Skating
Glide into the family spirit with a fantastic ice skating experience at The Shipyards Plaza. Admission is free, and skate rentals are available at $5 for kids’ skates and $7 for adult skates. Don’t miss this fantastic opportunity to bond with your family and create lasting memories.
FREE MONOVA Exhibit
Join the Museum of North Vancouver (MONOVA) to unveil their newest exhibit, “Symphony of Nature: The North Shore from a Newcomer’s Perspective.” Discover the beauty of North Vancouver from a new perspective with your loved ones. Admission is free, and the event is made possible with the generous support of the Province of British Columbia.
Family Nights at Cypress Mountain
Enjoy live music by Michael Fabro on the patio from 12:00 pm to 4:30 pm and Michelle’s Cheeky Face Painting & Balloon Art on the patio and tube park from 4 pm to 7 pm at Cypress Mountain. Dress as your favourite cartoon character for Theme Day at Gnarly’s Tube Park and enjoy daily food and beverage specials. In addition to regular drop-in activities, North Vancouver Recreation also has a variety of free and low-cost activities for you and your family to enjoy this BC Family Day Weekend. Family drop-in is also available at the City of North Vancouver library.
