Former Member of Parliament from Andrew Saxton announced his candidacy for Conservative party nomination for North Vancouver.
Saxton, who served as a MP from 2008 to 2015, said he worked hard to secure millions dollars of funding and investment for important community projects.
Saxton said some of those projects include new film school at Capilano University, new Polygon gallery, a new soccer bubble and artificial turf field at Windsor School, new interchanges over Highway 1 at Mountain Highway and Dollarton Highway, as well as new overpass at train tracks and upgraded to Mahon Park.
“We have a lot of work to do to win back North Vancouver, but I’m confident that together we can do it,” he said.
Deeply critical of the Trudeau government, Saxton said the Liberals have only pushed the country towards deeper deficits, mounting debt, and economic uncertainty.
“We need to hold the Liberals to account for their numerous broken promises. I look forward to working with you to bring back a Conservative MP to North Vancouver and a responsible, Conservative government to Ottawa,” he said
