The River Forecast Centre has issued a High Streamflow Advisory for North Shore.
The advisory is also applicable to Sea-to-Sky corridor, Howe Sound, Squamish River and surrounding tributaries.
A flood watch has been issued for Lillooet River.
Heavier rainfall on Friday and overnight has led to rapidly rising river levels across the region.
Rainfall totals over the last 36 hours have been observed in the 90-110mm range in mountainous areas along Howe Sound and the North Shore Mountains.
While rainfall is now easing and some rivers have reached peak levels, flows are expected to remain high on Saturday, particularly on the larger systems of the Squamish River and Lillooet River.
Rivers are not expected to see significant additional rises above current conditions.
