Lynn Valley Legion launches new website

February 4, 2021 5:50pm

The Lynn Valley Legion has launched a new website, and the legion is inviting the community to explore the site to learn what they do and offer and how locals join in.

Below is the message from the Lynn Valley Legion.

—

Over the years, the Lynn Valley Legion has become a community hub providing our members and neighbours a centre for outreach, financial & volunteer support and a safe, social & welcoming place to gather, all within your own neighbourhood.

We pride ourselves on inclusion and providing a welcoming atmosphere to all who pass through our doors.  Gone are the days of the private Veteran’s club of old, being exclusionary and preferential.

We welcome all those who serve or have served, those who are seeking connection with others, those who want to help others and those that want to explore greater community association.

In addition to providing support to our Veteran’s and their families, seniors, youth and other community organizations on the North Shore and Lynn Valley we pride ourselves on providing a welcoming local place for our members, guests and neighbours to gather and socialize.

We continue to provide weekly specials, live music and entertainment, televised sports entertainment, lottery, and a fantastic kitchen.  We are able to also accommodate private functions with catering.

We are your LOCAL Lynn Valley Legion located in the heart of Lynn Valley.  We are part of one of the largest Veteran organizations in Canada and have been serving the Lynn Valley community since 1930.
