In response to a recent call from a neighbours, Neptune Terminals team investigated and learned that the start-up alarm on one of our new conveyors was operating at a higher-than-intended volume.
The alarm is meant to keep employees safe, but it should not be heard in the community or be a nuisance to our neighbours.
“We have turned the volume down and pointed the alarm away from the community so that this won’t happen again in the future,” Neptune said.
Neptune reminds the public that it answers the Community Questions line within one business day.
