A new all-day electronic music festival will debut in North Vancouver this fall, bringing internationally known DJs to the Shipyards District for the first time.
According to a news release, Public Disco Festival will take over the waterfront venue on Saturday, October 3, 2026, running from 2 to 10 p.m. across two stages. The 19-plus event marks the biggest production in the nonprofit’s 10-year history.
Headliners Leon Vynehall, Fred P, Prosumer and DJ Holographic will lead the main stage lineup, joined by local DJ Dane and Calgary’s DJ Hannah. An all-vinyl listening lounge, powered by Lobe Studio’s spatial sound system, will run alongside the main stage with sets from DJs Scott W, Kozue, Christa Belle and Serena S, accompanied by live visuals from four featured artists.
The festival will be staged across three areas of the Shipyards District: the open-air Shipyard Commons Main Stage, facing downtown Vancouver across the inlet; the Pipe Shop Venue, a restored century-old building housing the Vinyl Lounge; and Shipbuilders’ Square, where a food market and licensed bars will operate throughout the day.
“Public Disco has always been about transformation,” said Nickolas Collinet, the organization’s executive director. “The Shipyards District is a brilliant example of that same spirit, a post-industrial waterfront reimagined as one of the region’s favourite gathering spaces. This fall, we’re bringing artists who have helped shape and sustain house music culture to a site that was built to be reclaimed by the public. We can’t wait to see it come alive.”
Discounted presale tickets, priced at $38 plus fees and GST, will be available exclusively to Public Disco newsletter and SMS subscribers from Wednesday, June 10 at 12 p.m. to Thursday, June 11 at 10 p.m., according to the news release. Regular tickets go on sale Friday, June 12 at 10 a.m. through publicdiscofestival.ca.
The festival is supported by Creative BC, the Province of British Columbia, Evo Car Share, Pabst Blue Ribbon, Lonetree Cider, 604Now, Vancouver’s North Shore Tourism and Pipe Shop Venue at The Shipyards.
