The new eastbound Mountain Highway on-ramp on Highway 1 will open to the public tomorrow, Wednesday, November 18.
The ramp will provide direct eastbound Highway 1 access for Lynn Valley residents, improve Keith Road and Seymour Parkway Interchange efficiency and benefit local traffic flow, according to BC Government.
The eastbound Fern Street on-ramp will close for two to three months on Monday, Nov. 23. It will be rebuilt to tie into the new Keith Road underpass.
This work is part of the Highway 1 Lower Lynn Improvement project, which will shorten commute times and improve safety for drivers, pedestrians and cyclists on the North Shore.
Travellers are asked to follow signs and obey posted speed limits.

The “New Mountain highway…..” grafic is right on top of it’s subject. Move it up to give a better understanding.
