The District of West Vancouver has received a preliminary development proposal for a nine-storey mixed use building at 1763 Bellevue Avenue.
The 12,190 square feet site is located on the north side of the 1700 Block of Bellevue Avenue, within the Ambleside Village Centre.
Currently, there is a 2-storey building, which operated as a Masonic Hall in the 1950.
The proposal includes 28 residential apartment units, and 22 strata units, which six will be non-market rental units.
Also proposed are five commercial units, with two retail and commercial units fronting Bellevue Avenue and 3 office units on 2nd floor.
Parking access is provided via Ambleside Lane to the rear of the site, and 70 parking spaces are being proposed, while 59 bike storage stalls are proposed.
The subject site is located within the Ambleside Town Centre Local Area Plan Boundary.
West Vancouver council is expected to discuss the proposal today at a council meeting.
