North Van RCMP recover stolen shoes after break-in

A pair of shoes taken during a break-in to a detached garage was recovered nearby, according to a social media post from North Vancouver RCMP.

Officers responded to the reported break-and-enter after a suspect was observed stealing shoes before fleeing the area. During a subsequent search of the neighbourhood, patrol officers discovered an unattended cart containing what appeared to be stolen tools, along with the victim’s missing footwear.

The shoes were returned to their rightful owner, according to the social media post. The investigation into the incident remains ongoing. As for the suspect, it appears they may have had cold feet because the shoes did not get very far, according to the social media post.
