Police are looking for the Good Samaritan who assisted an injured elderly person to the hospital. In a press release, North Vancouver RCMP said they would like to speak to the Good Samaritan who helped an injured person get to the hospital.
On December 1, 2023, North Vancouver RCMP were alerted of an injured elderly person that was admitted to Lions Gate Hospital in North Vancouver. The senior had sustained an injury to their head, but is was unclear how it occurred. Hospital staff noted a man had dropped the elderly person off but did not provide any contact info.
Police are now in the process of investigating how the elderly person sustained these injuries, and this anonymous individual might have information that could help police further the investigation.
“This kind-hearted community member’s actions directly led to this injured person seeking medical attention and ultimately being treated,” said Cst. Mansoor Sahak of the North Vancouver RCMP. “We’d like to extended our sincere appreciation for this person’s actions and are asking them to come forward by calling us at (604)-985-1311 and quoting file #23-25562.”
