North Vancouver Splash Park is open to public

Dive into the Fun at the Splash Water Park in North Vancouver: Open to the Public!

The popular Splash Park at the Shipyards is now open daily from 10 am to 8 pm, daily until September 5.

Visitors are welcome to pack a lunch and enjoy the water views from one of the picnic tables, or purchase food at any of the restaurants or shops located in The Shipyards, says the City of North Vancouver.

The City of North Vancouver has also opened the Mahon Spray Park to the public. The Mahon Spray Park will also be open for the season from 10 am to 8 pm daily. The community is also invited to enjoy other events such as The Shipyards Live, Fall for Local, The Garden Beer Market, noon hour music, outdoor movie nights, an artisan market and more.

“With sizzling performances, farm fresh food and ways to connect with neighbours, there’s something for everyone to enjoy from July to September,” CNV adds.

CNV is asking residents to follow Splash Park rules:

Be courteous, respectful, and safe.

Supervision is not provided at ANY time by the City – use at your own risk. Children must be supervised at all times

Wear swimsuits and/or appropriate attire.

No running or rough play.

No skateboards, roller blades, bicycles, or scooters.

No food allowed.

No pets allowed.

No alcohol allowed.

No glass, breakable objects, or water balloons.

Water shoes or sandals are recommended. No street shoes.

Splash Park uses recirculated water, so please don’t drink the water. There’s a water fountain by nearby Welcome Ice Cream Parlour to keep  hydrated.
