A local North Vancouver store is asking for help in finding a heavy planter that was stolen from the store. The planter has emotional value as it was brought by a family member who has since passed away.
In a social media post, Capilano Market said it’s asking the community to look for a heavy planter that was stolen from the market.
“We are so sad to find out someone has stolen our very heavy planter with a Japanese maple tree from the back parking lot area,” the store said. “This theft especially hurts our family as our brother (who passed away) was the one who brought that tree to the store. We were preparing it for a memorial in his honor.”
If you know anything of this incidence please help bring the plant back home. “If you see any for sale with a square planter let us know. We’re not looking to prosecute anyone for doing the theft. We just want the plant back.”
