One person is dead and another seriously injured in a late night, head-on collision, in the City of North Vancouver.
The crash happened on Lower Level road, and alcohol may have been a factor, according to a report by News1130.
Due to a serious motor vehicle incident last night, Low Level Rd remains closed between E 3rd St. and St. Andrews Ave. for at least another hour. Employees of Neptune Terminal are being permitted access by police at the scene. #NorthVan pic.twitter.com/9xIwnILnu5

Sgt Bryan Fedirchuck was quoted in News1130 report as saying that one driver passed away after being taken to the Lions Gate Hospital.
The other passenger was taken to the Vancouver General Hospital with life-threatening injuries.
“The westbound vehicle did catch fire as a result. And of course the eastbound vehicle suffered massive front-end damage as a result of the force of the collision,” Fedirchuck told News1130.
