The dramatic decline in COVID-19 cases on North Shore continues.
There were just 12 cases of COVID in the latest weekly data reported by the British Columbia Centre for Disease Control.
From June 13 to June 19, there were 3 cases in West Vancouver, and only 9 cases in North Vancouver reported by the BCCDC.
Last week, there were 21 cases reported on North Shore. COVID-19 numbers have been falling rapidly since May.
From May 1 to May 8, for example, North Shore recorded 98 cases, of which 28 were recorded in West Vancouver and 66 in North Vancouver.
The province said that while cases continue to come down, there are new cases happening from community transmission every day.
“That is why, whether you live in the North, on the Coast or in the Interior, we strongly encourage everyone to get fully vaccinated as soon as you are eligible,” BC says.
Why we still have to follow some rather ridiculous restrictions, which can make sombody more sick than civid either 19 or B.117 etc…
