District of West Vancouver has received a preliminary proposal to add the 106 additional rental units to Lot 8 of Evelyn by Onni.
Onni is hosting a public information meeting on the proposal on November 19, 2019 at the Evelyn Presentation Centre located at 710 Keith Road. The meeting will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. and is a drop-in format.
Lot 8 is currently zoned for 89 housing units and 30 rental units, which is secured by a housing agreement. With the proposed addition, the total number of units will be 225 (89 condominium and 136 secured rental units).
The meeting is being organised by the developer, and not the district.
This March, District of West Vancouver council approved changes applied by Onni to replace a club house with four town homes. Onni also proposed relocation and redesign of the lower portion of the Evelyn Walk, with an aim to provide a more direct connection with the upper portion of the property.
The master plan for the Evelyn Drive was approved by council in 2007. Spread over 22 acres, the development will create over 350 homes, a mix of single-family, duplex, town home and condos, in the Sentinel Hill neighbourhood.
Stupid question: Are bears, cougars, raccoons, and birds of all species included in these p;ans?
