CNV Mayor Linda Buchanan has announced the inaugural Mayor’s State of the City Address. It will be held at the Shipyard Commons on November 5.

“This event will be an opportunity for you to hear about the great things that are happening in our City, and to hear my plans for the coming year to make North Vancouver a healthier and more vibrant space,” she says.

This opportunity, however, isn’t free. To hear Mayor Buchanan lay out her vision will cost you $99.93.

Tickets are available at Eventbrite.

The event will start with an opening reception at 11:30 am, followed by a Q&A with the Mayor. This event is presented by the Port of Vancouver and will support North Shore Neighbourhood House.

“Mayor Linda Buchanan will outline the progress that has been made in the City of North Vancouver over the first year of her term and discuss her vision for the year to come,” according to information on Eventbrite.

Mayor Buchanan says she hopes the community join her in the event, which she hopes would be the “first of many”.
