North Vancouver RCMP are asking the public for dash cam and CCTV footage to help investigate a reported hit-and-run collision that injured a pedestrian.
In a press release, police said the incident occurred on January 31, 2026, at approximately 7:30 p.m., at the intersection of Highland Boulevard and Wavertree Road. A man and a woman were crossing in a marked crosswalk when a white sedan struck them. The vehicle briefly slowed, then drove away.

According to the RCMP, the female pedestrian suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to the hospital. The male pedestrian was unharmed. The suspect vehicle is described as a white sedan, possibly with a broken headlight.
“Police are asking the driver of the white sedan to come forward and provide their version of events,” said Corporal Mansoor Sahak, Media Relations Officer for the North Vancouver RCMP. RCMP noted that coming forward now would help investigators gain a clearer understanding of what occurred.
