North Vancouver RCMP are seeking the public’s help in an investigation where a man was assaulted while he was out walking his dog in Lynn Valley.
The incident happened in the 1200 block of Lynn Valley Road yesterday evening around 8 pm.
Police say there was an “interchange” between a man and a skateboarder, which led to the skateboarder assaulting the man, who is in his 60s.
When the suspect ‘wiped out’ on the skateboard, he didn’t think the man walking the dog helped him, which led to an argument and an assault.
The victim was left with bruises and scraped, and police is investigating, and asking for the public’s help with the investigation.
Any witnesses should contact the North Vancouver RCMP’s non-emergency number is 604-985-1311.
