Power is expected to be restored on North Shore by noon, says BC Hydro.
Strong winds have left 1440 customers in North Vancouver without power this morning when tree branches fell on hydro lines, said Susie Rieder, senior media relations advisor for BC Hydro.
Rieder told the North Shore Daily Post that hydro crews have made ‘good progress’ restoring over half of affected customers so far.
She said all customers on North Shore can expected to have power restored back by noon.
“By noon all affected customers should have power restores,” she said.
