Staff report
May 15, 2024 8:10am

The District of West Vancouver has received a Preliminary Development Proposal for a new single-family home and a coach house at 4798 The Highway. Vehicle access is slated to be provided on the east side of the property. This new driveway location will also offer vehicle access to 4796 The Highway south of the property.

The proposal will be evaluated against the Lower Caulfeild Heritage Conservation Area Guidelines.

Applicant-hosted public information meeting

The applicant is holding a Proposed Development Information Meeting on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at St. Francis-in-the-Wood, 4773 Piccadilly South Road in West Vancouver, to garner feedback from the neighbourhood.

The applicant is hosting the meeting, which is not a District-led public meeting. However, planning department staff will be available for questions at the meeting. All public comments provided at that meeting will be forwarded to the District’s Planning Department.

The applicant will now submit a formal Heritage Alteration Permit (HAP) application. Once a formal HAP application is submitted, the District will process it in compliance with the Development Procedures Bylaw.

Go on this webpage to find out more about this application.
