A rainfall warning is in effect for Sunshine Coast between Gibsons and Earls Cove.
Heavy rain with 50 mm expected is overnight.
Besides the Sunshine Coast, the rainfall warning is also in effect for Metro Vancouver communities.
The rain will ease Wednesday morning to some scattered showers.
Heavy downpours can cause flash floods and water pooling on roads. If visibility is reduced while driving, turn on your lights and maintain a safe following distance.
