The North Vancouver RCMP and Grouse Mountain are working together to identify a skier involved in an incident that left one young man injured.
On March 30, 2019 just before 7 pm, Police say an incident occurred between two skiers on Grouse Mountain on the ski run, The Cut
.
One of the skiers, who was a youth, sustained a head injury that was initially thought to be minor, but turned out to be serious enough to require hospitalization.
The youth is currently recovering at home. Police are asking the second person to come forward.
Anyone with video footage from The Cut
between 6:30 pm and 7:30 pm on March 30 is asked to contact police.
Police would also like to speak with any eyewitnesses or anyone with information about the incident. To assist in remembering the incident, the youth was wearing:
- white
Adidas
brand hooded sweatshirt - dark blue toque
- tan colored pants
