North Vancouver RCMP is looking for a suspect or suspects who broke 18 car windows in one night this month.
Sgt. Peter DeVries, media spokesperson for the North Vancouver RCMP, said between 11 pm on March 9 and the early morning of March 10, one or more people broke the front passenger windows of 18 different cars.
All of the cars were parked on the street in the blocks bounded by St. Georges Ave. and Forbes Ave., between 2nd St. and 5th St.
There was no theft from the cars, said Sgt. Peter DeVries. In fact, they didn’t even enter any of the cars, he added.
Investigators have no suspects and have not been able to find a clear motive.
“If wanting to ruin 18 people’s day for no reason could be a motive, said DeVries, this is a pretty good match,” he said.
