Quarry Rock remains closed due to significant infrastructure projects taking place in Deep Cove this summer.
It was initially closed during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic to comply with the Provincial Health Officer’s orders, as overcrowding on the trail and the outlook was a common occurrence.
This has made it difficult to maintain appropriate physical distancing.
Starting in July, DNV will also be replacing a staircase along the Sea to Sky Trail in Lynn Canyon Park as part of the Parks Infrastructure Renewal Program.
Signage will be posted in the area to inform trail users.
Please use caution when passing through this construction zone.
DNV anticipates this project will be completed by mid-September 2021.
