The Rotary Club of Lions Gate North Vancouver in conjunction with First Impressions Theatre held a successful fundraiser at the Deep Cove Theatre on May 4.
It was the opening night for the play ‘Shirley Valentine’ with Louise Porter in the starring role and what an outstanding performance it was. The 126 audience attendees all thoroughly enjoyed the play.
An amount of $2,512.00 was raised after expenses from the ticket sales. The lucky winner of the 50/50 draw received $242.50. All funds raised from this performance and the 50/50 draw are dedicated to youth projects on the North Shore.
The Rotary Club of Lions Gate North Vancouver would like to thank all those who attended this event, its community partners, First Impressions Theatre and The Shaw Theatre Deep Cove for making it such a success.
