A special weather statement is in effect for North Shore and Metro Vancouver communities. Potential snowfall of up to 10 cms is possible in Metro Vancouver and Fraser Valley.
It is expected to begin tonight and will continue to Tuesday morning. A cold and unstable airmass over the coast can bring some wintery conditions to the Lower Mainland.
“Showery weather with snow levels hovering around 300 metres is forecast tonight. As a result, higher elevations, and the Fraser Valley could see higher accumulations of snow tonight to Tuesday morning,” says Environment Canada.
