Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for North Shore.
Strong westerly winds with gusts up to 70 km/h can be expected in the area overnight through to Wednesday afternoon.
A cold front will cross southern BC tonight, bringing strong westerly winds with gusts up to 70 km/h overnight.
The strong winds will persist on Wednesday morning, and then ease in the afternoon.
