Ten people have been injured in a serious crash on the Sea to Sky Highway. The early morning crash shut down the Sea to Sky Highway in both directions near Brandywine Falls. Authorities warn of lengthy delays.
According to BC Emergency Health Services (BCEHS), paramedics responded to the crash at 8:53 a.m. with five ambulances dispatched. Ten people were injured in the incident. Two patients were airlifted to the hospital in critical condition, while eight others were transported by ground ambulance in stable condition.
Emergency crews remain on-site, and DriveBC has warned travellers to expect major delays. Motorists are advised to check DriveBC for further updates.
