A new Value Village thrift store is set to open in North Vancouver on June 25, 2026, the retailer’s 11th location in Greater Vancouver.

The store, at 1420 Fell Ave. just off Marine Drive, spans more than 20,000 square feet and will carry clothing, accessories, housewares, books and other secondhand items, with thousands of items added to the sales floor daily. Hours will be 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily.

According to a news release from Value Village, the location will also serve as a donation point for Big Brothers of Greater Vancouver, which receives payment from Value Village for donated clothing and housewares — an arrangement that has helped fund BBGV’s youth mentorship programs for three decades.

“Big Brothers of Greater Vancouver has operated a clothing donation service in our region for three decades, and our partnership with Value Village has been the cornerstone to funding youth mentorship programs for tens of thousands of children in that time,” said Valerie Lambert, executive director of BBGV.

To mark the opening, the Value Village Canada Giving Fund provided a $5,000 donation to BBGV.

According to the news release, BBGV’s clothing donation program — operated through its social enterprise, Renew Crew Foundation — collects clothing, household items, and books across Metro Vancouver, diverting millions of pounds of material from landfills and generating funding for mentorship programs serving nearly 1,000 children each year.

“Every bag of clothing and household items donated at this location will help continue funding mentoring relationships for youth on the North Shore and beyond,” Lambert said.

Store manager Kait Michieli said the business looks forward to becoming part of the North Vancouver community. “We look forward to welcoming shoppers from across the North Shore and creating a positive impact together,” she said.
