Vancouver police are appealing for witnesses and dash-cam footage after a serious hit-and-run collision in downtown Vancouver on Friday evening.
According to the news release by VPD, a 23-year-old woman was crossing Davie Street and Pacific Boulevard on Aug. 21 at about 9:30 p.m. when she was struck by the driver of a blue sedan.
The driver did not remain at the scene and was last seen travelling eastbound on Pacific Boulevard from Davie Street, according to the news release. The pedestrian was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
“We believe there are several witnesses in the area who might have seen what happened,” Const. Darren Wong said, according to the news release. Police are asking witnesses or anyone with dash-cam footage from the area to come forward.
