Alexander Lo, a 31-year-old resident of Vancouver, has been identified as the victim of a homicide case in East Vancouver.
A 39-year-old man, Dwight William Kematch, is facing charges of second-degree murder in connection with Lo’s death as Vancouver Police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.
The Vancouver Police Department (VPD) responded to a distress call received around 1 a.m. Sunday from a residence near Knight Street and East 33rd Avenue, where officers discovered the body of Alexander Lo.
VPD’s homicide unit is investigating and pursuing leads to shed light on the events that led to Lo’s death. Kematch remains in custody.
